MEET THE EDITOR
OF INA TODAY:
TOBY WESTERMAN

Mr. Toby Westerman is editor and publisher of International News Analysis, the independent journal of contemporary world political, social, and economic developments, and its Internet presence, International News Analysis Today (www.inatoday.com).

International News Analysis and International News Analysis Today are tenacious and unyielding in their determination to make understandable the parade of seemingly unrelated events of the day, and to expose the deception and misinformation which passes for news in the media.

Militant Islam, China, Russia, and the continuing influence of Communism in the world are major areas of investigation for Westerman and International News Analysis.

Westerman broke the story of the relationship between Fidel Castro and Communist China, during a series of articles on the Elian Gonzalez tragedy, and disclosed to the public the Cuban regime's reliance on the U.S. elite liberal media.

Westerman documented The New York Times' continuing refusal to answer the demands of Ukrainian-American activists and acknowledge the lies and distortions of its one-time Moscow correspondent, "Stalin's Apologist," Walter Duranty.

Westerman has also contributed hundreds of articles to other news publications, both in print and on the Internet.

In addition to years of experience as a journalist, Westerman is also a member of the National Organization of Scholars, and has been inducted into Phi Alpha Theta, the national honor society in History, and Phi Sigma Tau, the national honor society in Philosophy.

Westerman has completed three years of post-Masters work toward the Ph.D. in Eastern and Western European history at the University of Wisconsin--Madison. His studies emphasized Byzantium and Muslim expansion from the earliest conquests in the seventh century to the fall of Constantinople.

Substantial linguistic background in modern languages, as well as classical Greek and Latin, support Westerman's investigations.

Westerman has made guest appearances on , the GUN OWNERS NEWS HOUR, and Paul Ibbetson's CONSCIENCE OF KANSAS radio show, as well as other broadcasts.
